Walk with us in this unspoilt country paradise - if you can remember what the English countryside was like before erosion became popular then this is very reminiscent.

Wonderful scenery and exceptional people - we pass rare orchids and fields ablaze with poppies. Secret coves and deserted beaches - need we say any more. Come and experience this heaven on earth for yourself!

Our programme of walks in this beautiful area of Portugal highlights the many different aspects of the Algarve landscape. From lengthy day hikes along coastal footpaths, exploring ruined castles hidden deep in forests, to gently undulating hills overlooking olive and citrus groves. 2 - 3 walk guides guarantee a walks choice for our clients.

This holiday is fully inclusive comprising:

Itinerary

  • Saturday
    Arrival at Faro airport and transfer to accommodation.
  • Sunday: Paderne Castle and Serra Grande 14.5kms.
    Lovely, serene river walking together with an interesting visit to the historic castle on the hill.
  • Monday: Aguas Frias and Zambujal 12kms.
    We visit 2 very remote villages near the Algarve - Alentejo boundary.
  • Tuesday: Benagil 14 kms.
    Spectacular cliff top scenery giving one of the best walks in the Algarve, where sea stack, blow holes and rock arches abound.
  • Wednesday: Pardiero 17 kms.
    Remote country walking at its best, we visit little known gems, boldly going where no other trekking company has gone before.
  • Thursday: Lagos - Luz 16 kms.
    An excellent and easy coastal trek taking in the lighthouse at Ponta De Piedade.
  • Friday: Cabo De Sao Vicente 12 kms.
    Still known as Fim Do Mondo, or End of the World. We explore the most westerly part of continental Europe. The holiday ends with our famous farewell gala dinner.
  • Saturday
    Departures: transfers to Faro airport.
